Partners Jennifer A. Thompson and Jason C. Tarasek have both been named to Minnesota Lawyer’s “The POWER 30: Real Estate and Construction Law” list, published June 28, 2021. Minnesota Lawyer’s POWER 30 features “power brokers” in a particular area making an impact in the Minnesota legal community. This most recent list focuses on attorneys in real estate and construction law.
Those attorneys selected to be honored in this list were approved because they are well-respected by other attorneys and leaders in Minnesota, they were involved in significant cases in the state, and they have been included in the archives of Minnesota Lawyer as people whose achievements and influence were recognized as powerful in the real estate and construction legal field.
Jennifer’s work includes multi-party, multi-tier litigation and transactional work. Jennifer’s interview for the Minnesota Lawyer POWER 30 list touched on the great work she has done on behalf of owners in construction defect cases, including in the Town Center Office Plaza Association v. Carlson Real Estate Ventures, her position as legal counsel to the Association of Women Contractors, and her work with the Minnesota State Bar Association, where she will serve as President starting July 1, 2021.
Jason represents subcontractors seeking full payment for their work and homeowners experiencing construction-defect problems. Jason’s interview for the Minnesota Lawyer POWER 30 list focused on his work as the chapter attorney for the Minnesota Subcontractors Association and his efforts aimed at increasing the bargaining power of subcontractors vis a vis general contractors.
TTLO Law is proud of the accomplishments both Jennifer and Jason have achieved and the good work they continue to do on behalf of our clients. It is exciting that their hard work and dedication have been recognized by Minnesota Lawyer through inclusion in this POWER 30 list.
